About Smart Farms
We are excited to announce that our 100% organic vegetable plants will be available for sale this spring. Our selection includes Banana Peppers, Early Jalapeños, Bell Peppers, Beefsteak Tomatoes, Cabbage, Cherry Tomatoes, and many other varieties.
Our plants are grown using a specialized process. Once sprouted, seedlings are moved to a Deep Water Culture (DWC) chamber to receive optimal nutrients and oxygen. This ensures they develop a robust root system and lush foliage before being repotted into our proprietary soil blend.
Because our plants are hardened off and advanced in their growth cycle, they are "Almost Ready to Eat," with some varieties producing fruit as early as late June.
Please let us know if you would like to place an order or if you have any questions about our current inventory.

Our Growing Process
Science + Experience = Better Plants

- 1
Sprouting
Seeds are carefully sprouted in controlled conditions to ensure strong, healthy starts.
- 2
Deep Water Culture (DWC)
Seedlings move to our DWC chamber, receiving optimal nutrients and oxygen for vigorous root development.
- 3
Proprietary Soil Blend
Plants are transplanted into our specially formulated soil blend, where they continue to thrive and harden off.
- 4
Almost Ready to Eat (A.R.E.)
Advanced growth means earlier harvests and bigger yields — plants nearly ready to produce when you bring them home.
Smart Farms presents
A.R.E.™
Almost Ready to Eat
Our A.R.E. system represents years of refinement combining sprouting science, Deep Water Culture nutrient delivery, and a proprietary hardened soil blend. The result: plants that arrive at your garden already advanced in their growth cycle — closer to harvest, stronger against transplant shock, and ready to produce sooner than conventional starts.
Why A.R.E. plants outperform
- 100% Organic & Healthy Plants
- Grown with advanced science-backed methods
- Strong Roots & Lush Foliage
- Hardened Off & Almost Ready to Eat
- Early Harvest — some as early as late June
